Welcome to my slice of the internet 
Hello and Welcome to my Website! My name is Rosie and I am a 24y/o artist who lives the United States' midwest. I am a proud midwesterner; we get a lot of flack, but I think it's a truly beautiful place to live. I work as an art teacher's aide and I really love my job! I spend my time playing with my two cats, practicing piano, making art to sell at art fairs, and when I'm up for it, taking a run in my local park.
I made this site in order to gather my thoughts, hobbies, and passions in one place. I learned html in highschool, but it's proven to be insufficient for me to build this by myself. I used PetraPixel's generator to get me started, and I can't say how thankful I am for her resources. The link to the generator is in my footer, so check it out!
Who's Rosie?
I named this site after the famous war-time icon Rosie the Riveter. My name isn't actually Rosie but it's what some people call me and I wanted to make this somewhat anonyous. Rosie emulates much of what I lack and desire in myself. She's strong and independent. She stands up in the face of adversity and says, "Hey, check out these guns." (Yeah, I've been doing pushups, can you tell?)
Honorable Mention
Rosie is also the name of one of my favorite villagers from Animal Crossing. I just wanted a reason to include this adorable gif of her cutie patootie pie.
